Well, tomorrow is one week. My first weigh in....I wonder how many first "weigh ins" I have had over the years. The week went well...as far as weight loss and eating well. Earlier in the week I was sick, so for two days all I did was sleep! Later in the week we had lots of snow, and I got a lot of exercise by shoveling the sidewalk and digging my car out.

Wish me luck tomorrow...I will let you know!

Pierre is here visiting and yes, I am still "crazy busy"! The poor guy pays for airfare to come see me and I have had different functions almost every single night so far! Last night was no exception, and it was my birthday! After work I attended a training class from 4:00 to 8:15 p.m. When I got home we had a little party. My ex-husband ordered a cake for me and Pierre and the boys spoiled me with lots of gifts. Pierre gave me down blankets and pillows that he brought from Germany and he also sent flowers to me at work. The boys gave me all sorts of great stuff....snowmen for my Christmas collection, a book store gift certificate, vanilla hand lotion( my favorite), and a vanilla candle. (also my favorite!) Several of the teachers at school gave me a $40 gift certificate to the local mall! Even with the meeting, it was such a nice day!

On Tuesday I weighed in and lost another 2 1/2 pounds!!! Yeah!!!

Well, I am definitely not going to win any awards for fast weight loss but I am losing! I need to remember that every little bit adds up! I lost 1 pound this week. Bringing my weight loss total to -28 1/2 pounds. My life is still crazy, but you know what? It is crazy in a good way. I feel energized, challenged, and above all motivated. I keep thinking things will slow down, but no sign of that happening. I am getting very excited about this weekend. Pierre is coming to visit me for two weeks. (Alex, if you are reading this....yes, things are looking good between us again!)
